Pay Period

Next, you can set your regular pay period. This will define your standard length and start date of your reports. You can choose between:

  • Weekly: A weekly pay period results in 52 payments in a year.
  • Bi-weekly (every other week): A bi-weekly pay period results in 26 payments in a year. In some years, a bi-weekly payroll system might result in an additional pay period.
  • Four-weekly (every four weeks): A four-weekly pay period results in 13 payments in a year.
  • Semi-monthly (twice a month): A semi-monthly pay period results in 24 payments in a year.
  • Monthly: An monthly pay period results in 12 payments in a year.

Geofencing

Locations are also relevant for mobile clocking. If the geofencing feature is activated, employees are unable to clock outside of a predetermined radius of a location, and employees who clock within the range will register their attendance at the determined location, even if they use the TimeMoto app.

Creating Locations

Geofencing limits the radius in which employees can clock at a specific location. However, you can also allow employees to create locations. If employees are authorized to do that, they can clock via the TimeMoto app at a random GPS position, which will then create a new location at that place and add it to your Cloud.

Creating locations can be globally (dis-)allowed, but you can also authorize the employees individually in the Employee Card. That way, you can let some employees be affected by limitations, while others may clock wherever they are at the time.
